I Am Here, in New Zealand
What a journey it has been to get here. It took devotion, but I made it.
While packing before leaving Sweden, I found a notebook and decided to bring it with me. When I unpacked after arriving, I realized the notes were all about the goal I set for myself two years ago: In five years, I will make a living as a writer, working mainly from home.
This has been a secret, shared only with a couple of very close people—and with the notebook.
Look at me now! I’ve taken a huge step toward that goal. The road ahead is still long and winding, but I’m on it—I haven’t wandered off onto a side path.
With my introverted nature, working from home as a writer will suit me well. It will give me the time and space to dig deep into my own projects.
The beautiful flower was a gift from my daughter when she picked me up at the airport in Wellington. ❤️
